Church of God, Pakistan is committed to reaching the unreached by teaching the gospel, planting churches and strengthening the body of Christ. They are currently reaching areas throughout Pakistan, the borders of Afghanistan and Iran and in the tribal areas.
Ways We Minister:
- Pastoral Training- There are over 200 pastors in the Church of God, Pakistan network. By regularly training and equipping these pastors, who each have a 10 mile radius of land they are responsible for, the vision is kept present and the pastors are prepared to reach out and share the love of Christ.
- Evangelistic Crusades- Drawing up to ____ people per event, crusades are effective with reaching large masses of people with the truth of the gospel.
- Community Development- Through programs designed to live well, gain skills, and face life’s various challenges C.O.G. has a positive community presence and favor with community leaders.
- Sewing Centers- Widows in Pakistan are often left without a way to survive. By training them in the art of embroidery and sewing and equipping them with a sewing machine, the widows in the area are given an opportunity to make a living.
- Schools- by establishing schools in churches to educate children (of which are both Muslim and Christian) using Christian materials. By sowing seeds of the gospel early in this area completely intolerant of Christianity, we not only reach the children with the love of God but also set the stage for a greater degree of tolerance of Christianity in the future.
